Cheshire Beekeepers have organised a food hygiene course and participants will be able to gain their Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing. This is a one-day course with a (short!) exam at the end. It will be run by a qualified person who understands about honey production, extraction and bottling. The course is geared for beekeepers, many of whom sell their products at farmers’ markets etc. where having such a certificate can be a definite asset.


The qualification lasts for three years. The course was last run four years ago. If you previously did the course and wish to renew your certificate or are interested in gaining a food safety certificate then please contact Pam Hatton, 01925 263023 or email pamela.hatton200@btinternet.com

The fee is £40 per person for the day plus a charge of £17 + vat for the certificate.
